Services provided by Dacorum Borough Council

At this moment in time Dacorum Borough Council are maintaining  as many services as possible during these trying times.

Waste Services – currently delivery of waste services are being maintained. The Service BCP priorities residential waste collection in the event of service disruption.  Additional agency staff are being trained and other depot staff to deliver waste services if required, but it may be necessary to suspend green waste collection, this will be kept under review..

Clean Safe and Green – priorities in services in the event of service disruption: firstly emptying litter bins, secondly dog waste bins and finally clearing away fly tipping. (Unfortunately since the Covid outbreak Dacorum Borough Council have had three separate cases of builder’s waste fly tipping along Caddington Common).

Supporting Housing – staff have been updating and validating information relating to resident’s vulnerabilities.

Staff liaising with voluntary group sector partners who have offered to deliver food to sheltered accommodation.

Age UK have confirmed they will help with the befriending service

At this stage visitors can still access relatives providing they have been screened properly for any signs of COVID-19 symptoms, this situation will be kept under review in light of emerging Government advice.
